Progressive Raffle and Queen of Hearts Fundraising
Queen of Hearts turns one raffle into a weekly reason to come back. The jackpot grows, the board gets smaller, and the fundraiser continues until the Queen of Hearts is selected.

How Queen of Hearts works
A standard 52-card deck plus two Jokers is shuffled and hidden behind 54 numbered spots on the board. Supporters buy entries and select which numbered card they want their entries placed on.
At each drawing, a winning entry is selected and the corresponding card is revealed. If it isn’t the Queen of Hearts, the fundraiser continues into the next drawing and the jackpot keeps building according to the organization’s rules.
Why progressive raffles feel different
A traditional raffle has one deadline. Queen of Hearts creates a recurring event. Each unrevealed week gives supporters another reason to participate and another reason to talk about the growing jackpot.
Multiple entries can be placed on the same selected card. One card might carry many entries while another carries none, so the card selection and the winning ticket are two separate parts of the process.
The excitement comes from repetition, which also means the organization needs to be prepared to run the fundraiser repeatedly. Depending on when the Queen appears, that can mean many weekly drawings rather than one closing night.
That recurring rhythm is the strength of the format, but only if your organization actually wants a recurring fundraiser.
Who Queen of Hearts fits
Churches, clubs, veterans organizations, and groups with an existing weekly or recurring audience are often a natural fit because supporters already have a reason to keep coming back.
